I would like to start this piece by stating emphatically that i am a christian, i believe in God and i have a girlfriend whom i love so much.
In deuteronomy chapter 22 vs 28 of the King James version of the holy bible it states that "if a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father 50 shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives". this was the phenomenom ruling the past, it was the punishment melted out when one commits such crime, in modern day society, when such occurs what this means is with the lady father's mandatory approval, the rapist should be given a chieftaincy title amidst a fun fare and carnival, applauded for his deed, asked to pay as little as N50 for her dowry and crowned with the honour of continuous raping of the lady for life.
it used to be normal for a white man to adopt a black person as a slave many years ago, the black coloured person was seen as an inferior, they were gaged, chained by arms and legs, bonded and shipped to the west and sold for next to nothing to white families who in turn used them as slaves and in most cases some were beaten to death. but now times have changed, colour difference has been embraced by almost all with the advent of inter racial relationships while some white people look forward to having mocha babies with black people.
it also used to be a normal practice to kill twins immediately after birth, because they were strange, strange because the society refused to be open minded, since it was common for women to have a kid at once, the natural law was narrowly interpreted to mean that giving birth to more than one child at once was an abnormal occurrence hence evil in most developing nations. but now it is not just the baby twins that are seen as evil, its their murder at birth, how callous we must have thought to ourselves when people now have sextuplets in modern times. for every law of nature, there is an exception, we are black people yet we have albinos among us, they are not bad or evil, they are just different. the world was reportedly started with Adam in the garden of Eden in modern day Iraq, hence every human in the world is suppose to be from one colour and one race. however, there are whites, caucasians, blacks and asians. its not evil also, it's just that we are different and this difference must have started at some point. there are some men that have certain features that are of women and some women have certain features that traditionally belong to men, it is not bad or evil, its just nature. there are also the hermaphrodites, genetically born with both male and female characteristics, these group of people are not bad or evil, they don't choose to be born that way, they are just different, some choose to stay that way while others choose to be operated on and stick to a sex which in most cases are determined by doctors and decided upon by percentage of proximity to a particular sex.
Meditation on homosexuality and on the wonders of nature and how she breaks her own law in all of these instances and more ought to convince us that men who are naturally born to love men and women who are also naturally born to love women would exist somewhere and someday in this world, this is not bad or evil, it is just mother nature asserting her rights to break her own rules.
Homosexuality is not evil, Homosexuality is not a western experinment invented in a laboratory, it is not a cultural fad, Homosexuality is not a measure of cultural decadence nor is it a sign of the end of time, Homosexuality is simply a biological fact, in some cases a prove that God can not be predicted in his ways of creation in both humans and animals. you can not become gay unless you are born one and ofcourse i would never stand with some gays and lesbians that claim to join the club simply because their heterosexual partner cheated on them and so they needed to swing the other way to be happy.
in the 19th century, at a time when homosexuals were executed freely in western societies such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico etc, the empire of Japan and the Ottoman empire decriminalized homosexuality because they suddenly discovered that people could actually be born gay and it is okay to be gay.
the normal healthy human body is born consisting of 46 chromosomes, amongst these are the X and Y chromosome responsible for sex dertermination, a female usual carries an X chromosome while a male carries an XY chromosome, however it has been genetically proven with several cases of people born with XXY chromosomes, they are born as females morphologically. they would not menstrate when they reach puberty, they would not grow breast, they have no ovaries and have an under developed vagina relatively small compared to the normal size. these condition medically is known as Swyer's Syndrome. these group of people are operated upon, have their undeveloped gonads surgically removed, and are placed on monthly oestrogen injection for life to help induce their female sexual characteristic while suppressing the male hormones testosterone or antimüllerian hormone. this is no different from the hermaphrodites and if these group of people choose to love a woman later in life, could you blame them for responding to the natural attraction as a result of the residual male hormones in them after surgically changing them to females due to natural consequencies? absolutely not.
most people say its is disgusting to have a man sleep with another man as true as that may sound but many married men also have unprotected sex with multiple female comcubines, this under any law is disdain, disgusting and sinful as well. let us embrace the fact that some people can actually be born gay and it is okay to be GAY.
